Bus / Taxi Information: Bus travel around the city is very inexpensive and frequent throughout the day. For 45¢ each ride you can get around from one part of town to another. Taxis are not very expensive either with some rides costing only as much as $6.00US. From the airport it is around $20 to Casa Venezuela.
Tonalá and Tlaquepaque: Many visitors from all parts of the world come to see the markets of Tonalá where you can find a variety of artesanry and regional craft. The town features a large open-air market and many shops that offer glassworks, pottery, and some of the most beautiful carved wood furniture.
Tlaquepaque is the showcase of some of the best artistry from this region in México. The galleries are a wealth of inspiration to artists and interior designers. One gallery displays work from an interior designer to the Vatican who worked under the late John Paul II.
